About Ambulatory Health Services : Clinical Resource Nurse Job

The Ambulatory Health Services has a focus on primary and community-delivered health care services that range from family medicine, COVID-19 dedicated facilities for assessment and testing, to specialized dialysis and nephrology services, and a wide range of outpatient specialty clinics delivered across the emirate of Abu Dhabi, and when required to other UAE emirates.

Ambulatory Health Services is recognized for its world-class rapid response to meeting the needs of the community, which has been particularly evident during the COVID-19 pandemic

Basic Purpose of the Role: Clinical Resource Nurse Job

Collaborative care of individuals of all ages, families, groups, and communities, sick or well, and in all settings. Includes the promotion of health, prevention of illness, and the care of ill, disabled and dying. Advocacy, promotion of a safe environment, research, participation in shaping health policy and in patient and health systems management, and education are also key nursing roles. (ICN, 2002). A member of the nursing/midwifery leadership team who is responsible for developing and implementing age-appropriate clinical practice standards consistent with best practice guidelines. Participates in the development and maintenance of a competency-based continuing education program that supports the nurses/midwives in all areas towards improvement in clinical practice. Provides clinical leadership in the relevant area of specialty.
